Title: QA-SAP Hybris
Job Duties/Essential Functions:
- Participates in requirement gathering sessions and gives input on requirement and design documents.
- Reviews requirements for assigned projects and creates test cases as applicable.
- Creates and executes manual and automated test scripts to validate the acceptance criteria defined within the epics and user stories implemented by team members.
- Collaborates with product team members (e.g., Product Owners, Solution Architects and Engineers) to define the automating testing approach/strategy for a given product / application.
- Maintains the automated testing suite and accompanying framework for a given product.
- Collaborates with team members to incorporate new automated test scripts into the continuous integration pipeline.
- Analyzes test results to identify defects, ensures features and user stories work as expected, and recommends corrective action as appropriate.
- Consults and provides feedback for resolution of problems.
- Abides by and follows software quality assurance standards, processes, and controls as it pertains to Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
- Develops, applies, and maintains quality standards for company products.
- Participates in team planning and activities for improving skills, knowledge, and quality of work.
- Oversees continued personal growth in the areas of technology, business knowledge, and company policies.
Required:
- Minimum 5 years’ software quality assurance engineering experience.
- Minimum 5 years’ hands-on experience using industry standard software QA and automation tools such as Jenkins, SauceLabs, Selenium, Java libraries Selenium Webdriver, Cucumber BD and , REST Assured, etc.
- Minimum 3 years’ experience working in an Agile environment and using industry tools such as JIRA, Confluence, etc.
- Experience with programming languages Flutter and Java.
- Proficiency in automation scripting and organizing test assets in the Agile work environment.
- Proficiency in multiple test automation tools and frameworks.
- Ability to drive and deliver quality through process, instrumentation, and testing.
- Experience in developing test strategies, test plans, and test cases.
- Ability to digest and understand complex and/or ambiguous user requirements and construct test cases to validate them.
- Strong knowledge of SDLC and SQA methodology, as well as experience testing on Agile or DevOps teams.
- Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, and problem solving skills.
- Solid understanding of build tools and software configuration management standards.
- Knowledge of and experience using Bitbucket.
- Ability to work within a team environment.
- Communicates technical issues clearly in written and oral forms.
- Ability to multitask in a fast paced, dynamic environment.
- Must be detail-oriented and capable of working in an environment with changing priorities.

The Power BI Sr. Architect / Data Engineer will guide the initial architecture and development of UW Medicine PowerBI platform and associated security. They will advise and collaborate with Project Team and Analytics leadership to help set direction and technical standards for the Power BI Implementation utilizing industry best practices. By working closely with BI Tools Simplification Project Teams and Analytics Data Engineering, this role involves implementing and configuring PowerBI for UW Medicine and laying the foundation so that subsequent phases may be successful in migrating enterprise reports, working with affiliated developers to migrate their reports, then retiring redundant reporting solutions. Primary areas of responsibility will include:
- Stand up/design UW Medicine PowerBI and Security Architecture
- Discovery / Planning for Future Project Phases
- Project Team Mentoring / Training
